Feeling ducky!
Norma Brodrick, left, an organizer of the High Prairie Beautification’s duck race, and John Brodrick, introduce a few of the Sept. 4 racers competing in the annual race. The race begins at 2:30 p.m. and takes place between the Buchanan bridge and Highway 2 bridge. It’s just one of the many events planned for the Labour Day weekend’s Alberta Centennial Celebrations.

Duck race just one highlight
One of the highlights, and the last scheduled event, for the upcoming Alberta Centennial Celebrations, over the Sept. 2-4 long weekend, is the second annual Duck Race.
