Rebecca and Molly Francis, Shelby and Hayley Laughlin,
along with many others, all gladly support the cause
of St. Andrews Share Lent fundraiser. The money
that is donated during the campaign will be split
in half. Half goes to Father Tonys St. Vincents
orphanage in Kerala, India, while the other half will
be given to Jean-Paul Nkunzi from Good Shepherd School
in Peace River for the construction of his school
in Congo. The fundraiser will end on April 10 when
the cans located in High Prairie businesses will be
collected and counted. In previous years the school
has collected a combined total of about $6,000. This
year they hope to add $2,500. So far the school has
raised close to $1,000 with just the silent art and
baked goods auction.
