Owen Rohloff, 5, of Grande Prairie, had a blast in the wading pool at Winagami Lake Provincial Park July 21 at Parks Day. Attendance was down this year as Parks Day was held the same day as the Falher Honey Festival. That didn’t stop many people like Rohloff, the grandson of former High Prairians Bob and Dawn Rohloff, from having a terrific time. The weather was perfect from the hot, muggy days last week.

The owner of the subdivision where the Extra Foods grocery store was going to be built this year is “extremely disappointed” with news last week the project is on hold.
