Remembrance Day at the Legion

A parade of attendees marched together down the street in front the Royal Canadian Legion after the wreath laying ceremony. Hundreds attended the ceremony to pay respect.

MLA Pearl Calahasen sponsored five memorial plaques, which commemorated the men’s lives.

The Hackworth family grieves the recent loss of their father, Clifford, who was a soldier in the war. The family also donated all of the refreshments for the service.
