The old United Grain Growers elevator in Kinuso was back in the news last week when a story ran on an Edmonton TV station. The elevator, built in 1951, is considered to be one of the remaining elevators in good shape. Above, the current owners, Sloco McRee (right) and Zanny McRee, of Kinuso, stand in front of the wooden giant. They say they are wiling to hand the elevator over to the Kinuso Museum but the problem is they don’t own the land. CN Rail has maintained ownership.
