High Prairie Regals’ goaltender Cannon Cunningham has the angle perfectly covered while Grimshaw Huskies’ forward Kyle Richardson looks for a rebound during North Peace Hockey League action at the Sports Palace Feb. 7. The Regals whipped the Huskies 11-2, then took a thumping themselves two nights later by losing 13-2 at Fort St. John. The Regals close their regular season Feb. 16 at Valleyview. Tentatively, the club opens the playoffs on the road at Grande Prairie or Spirit River Feb. 19 before returning home for the second game of the series Feb. 21. Aboriginal constable service to be restored
The Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council plans to re-establish an aboriginal constable service for Driftpile and its other member communities.
