Hodder, a health promotion facilitator for Peace Country Health in Grande Prairie, held a car seat clinic at the High Prairie fire hall on March 28, and she had pamphlets to hand out. Hodder provides an inspection sheet to parents, which documents things like how well the child fits in the seat. She recommends against using after-market products, as they can change how the seat is meant to work. Any other local families who need to get their child car seats inspected should contact Const. Brian Egge at the RCMP detachment, as he is a certified to do it.
