The Prairie River Junior High School badminton team won another High Prairie School Divisional title April 19 in Slave Lake. Members of the team are in the photo above. Mother Nature throws a curve
Following the snowstorm that engulfed the Prairies, on April 22 and for days after, the community of High Prairie engaged in the task of digging out.

Indoor rodeo rides high in the saddle
It was two days of breakaway roping, tie-down roping, bronco busting, steer wresting, steer riding, barrel racing and other activities.

Medals, medal medals!
In the last few weeks junior high school teams from Prairie River and St. Andrew’s schools have fared very well in competitions.

St. Andrew’s Moose place first at annual Handgames Tournament
On April 18, students from Grades 3-12 traveled to Grimshaw to compete in the Second Annual Peace 10 and Holy Family School Division Handgames Tournament. Approximately 200 participants from all corners of the Peace Region attended.
