Above are the junior high students from St. Andrew’s School who placed in the High Prairie School Divisional Badminton Tournament. In all, the 15-player team brought home 13 medals and earned 31 points, only five points behind the first place and much larger Prairie River Junior High School team. Front row, left-right, are Brayden Noskey, Shelby Kasinec, Alexandra Keshen, Keyana Calahasen, Hope Sauvageau, Mitchell McLean and Taylor Jarvis. Back row, left-right, are Kyra Backs, Jesse Belcourt, Sean Boisson, Nathan Gingerich, George Cheng, Billy Belcourt, Alexander Marzotko and Morgan Caudron.

In the last few weeks junior high school teams from Prairie River and St. Andrew’s schools have fared very well in competitions. Following is a list. Gold: Mitchell McLean in intermediate boy’s singles. Gold: Hope Sauvageau as a junior playing in senior girl’s singles.
