Saints hand out the hardware

Many of St. Andrew’s School’s athletes have to make shelf space at home for their plaques. The school held its annual athletic banquet June 18 and Rob Levy was the master of ceremonies. He asked the basketball, volleyball, badminton and track and field coaches to present the plaques to their athletes. There were plaques for most improved player, most sportsmanlike player and most valuable player. Two other awards were presented. Toni Noecker received a St. Andrew’s School blanket and Diane Perry received a vest with the school’s logo. Noecker has been a member of the school’s sports coaching committee for six years but is stepping down and moving elsewhere. Perry is taking her place next year.
