Bling, bling! Or ching, ching! Whatever you want to call it, Evelyn Lesiuk, left, was more than happy to win the beautiful diamond pendant donated by the Wood family. This polar diamond necklace was rumoured to have a value of $10,000.

Pierre Elliott Trudeau everybody! Arthur Wood fell victim to Bert Daly’s celebrity look-alike contest and was given the honour of being Trudeau.

The Nemadar Ranch was presented with a dedicated photo for the new hospital for their $10,000 donation to the cause. Left-right are Marie Stout, Judy Williscroft, Nona Elliott, Allan Stout on behalf of Neill, and Wilf Willier.

Christopher Williscroft was the auctioneer for the live auction and what a great job he did! He made sure bids were high.

Linda Williscroft played Vanna White during the live auction portion of the evening. She was seen flaunting her stuff in her best effort to raise the bidding on all the items. Above, she shows off the sturdiness of a table donated by High Prairie Mayor Rick Dumont.

The event was held in honour of Dr. J.B. Wood and his wife who are very important members of the High Prairie community. Above are Wood’s children, left-right: Alan, Rodney, Lynn, Arthur and Lorna.

Wendell Ebbett was busy serving martinis to those who purchased diamond raffle tickets.

Mayor Rick Dumont gives a thumbs up for the item he donated and bought back for the live auction.

Bert Daly was the MC for the night and was a hoot! He did a great job on the celebrity look-alikes.
