Gift Lake Metis Settlement’s Community Services department entered a float under the theme of ‘Celebrating Humanity’. Each person on the float represented an ethic origin. Above, Brooklyn Auger is dressed as an Oriental.

The High Prairie and District Museum always enters the parade and has a first-class entry. This year, they depicted life from long ago. Above, Ilana Sutherland shows the attire from the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Many people volunteer their time to help businesses in the parade. Above, Pat Berry drove one of Deerline’s ATV units and was more than pleased to give away candy to several lucky children.

Here comes the beer wagon! Or, the ‘Jalopy Delivery Truck" from the High Prairie Liquor Store. A smiling employee, Jennifer Anderson, drove the funky vehicle in the parade. No refreshments to give away, however!
