Coyote Gas & Things ready to celebrate 1st anniversary

Coyote Gas & Things is celebrating its first anniversary Dec. 22 with terrific prize draws.

On Dec. 22, 2007, Coyote Gas &Things opened its doors on the corner of Highway 750 and the Hilliard Bay Road. Chuck (Bernard) Badger and Lyle Halcrow saw the great opportunity that the location provided in serving Status and Non-Status people alike. The two gentlemen developed a partnership and have not looked back since. The business has proven to be self sufficient within a three month period, as well as providing employment opportunities. One of the key ingredients to having the business is such a success is the unique promotions that are offered to customers. On a daily basis, customers have the opportunity to win 10 to 75 per cent of their purchases through the Discount Spinner that is part of their Point of Sale System. Within the first month of business there was a draw for $25 free gas. The second draw was for a 32” plasma TV, which was drawn on March 22 at their grand opening along with six other prizes. Coyote Gas & Things also offered hamburgers and hot dogs to all their customers that came for the opening. Giving back to the community is an important aspect of doing good business and these two fellows ensure that they do in accordance with what the new business can manage. Futuristically, they hope to sponsor groups and individuals, providing all necessary requirements are met. There was a giveaway for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. On Sept. 1, there was a draw for $100 gas. To celebrate their one-year anniversary coming up Dec. 22, they are having draws for authentic autographed jerseys from prominent NHL players. The first draw will be on Nov. 28 for a Mark Messier New York Rangers Captain jersey. This is one of the few that will be drawn prior to Christmas.
