The High Prairie Girl Guides brought Christmas cheer to the residents of J.B. Wood Extended Care Unit Dec. 9 when they sang a few songs. Each year, the Girl Guides go to J.B. Elder’s Banquet a celebration of culture, achievement
Lesser Slave Lake MLA Pearl Calahasen’s joyful laughter filled the hall as she moved through the crowd of over 400, first standing by the supper lineup exchanging pleasantries and hugs with all who passed. Later, she stopped at every table, greeting and hugging everyone like the friends, relatives and supporters they were.
