Tammy Kaleta presented a plaque to Paul Loewen, who accepted it on behalf of Cal Burnside. Kaleta says Burnside has dedicated many years of his life to the sporting world. Burnside could not attend the dinner for health reasons.


Tammy Kaleta presented a plaque to Dick Blaikie for his many years of service to the High Prairie Fish and Game Association.


Keira Kushner, left, and Scott Simms of Sustainable Resources Development provided information about the mountain pine beetle, wildfire prevention and camping on public lands. Simms works in High Prairie and Kushner works in Slave Lake.


Bob Rohloff was in the Sports Palace taking registrations for his hunter’s education course and memberships for the High Prairie Gun Club.
