Where there's smoke....
While there were no flames visible, smoke came through
the trees in several areas of the fire at Kidney Lake. As of June 23, after a week and
a half of fighting, 5,113 hectares had burned. The cause of the fire , which started on
June 14, was started because of a bolt of lightning. There are numerous forest fires
burning in the region that were considered out of control, this one was deemed controlled
on June 24 at 5 p.m. Read more in
