Who says there are only 3 a.m. feedings?

Cathy Whymark is a dutiful person, feeding this two-month-old bison, Buffy, every three hours. Buffy was a twin and her mother gave priority to feeding the other calf, so Whymark accepted the role of bottle feeding her. She even took time from her 50th anniversary to feed Buffy. She and her husband, Fred Whymark, have a bison ranch near Snipe Lake, with approximately 400 head of bison.


Unusual cougar sightings in region
Although cougars come from the Rocky Mountains into the prairies, it is very rare to see them in the Peace River region.

Never a dull moment at Fish and Wildlife
