She’s our “Top Model”

For months, Linsay Willier of Sucker Creek First Nation, stood in the limelight on Canada’s Next Top Model. Although she placed second, the community of Driftpile First Nation thinks of her as the champion. In recognition of her achievement, the organizers of the annual Driftpile Powwow presented her with a Pendelton jacket. Below, Florence Willier presents it to Willier. In the photo on the right, Willier talked about her experience with CNTM and thanks the organizers of the powwow for the gift.

Colours and dancers aplenty at Driftpile Powwow
Driftpile First Nation’s 23rd annual powwow was a kaleidoscope of colours, with dance outfits of all types and styles flowing over the ground.
