High Prairie School Division is pleased to welcome several new teachers for the 2009-2010 school year

Teachers new to the school division took part in an introductory three-day orientation session in late August as part of HPSD’s successful and well recognized Teacher Mentorship Program.

Through the valuable program, teachers work with a coach mentor in their first and second year of service for support in introducing and maintaining a positive classroom environment, establishing effective planning procedures and applying quality teaching strategies to support student success in their classrooms.
