High Prairie peace officer Alan Bloom issued his October report during the protective services committee
meeting Nov. 20.
October enforcement services report
Peace officers Alan Bloom and Mark Morrical picked up seven dogs running at large and turned four over
to the Prairie Animal Rescue Society, while three were returned to their owners.
Bronson submits October report
M.D. of Big Lakes peace officer Cory Bronson issued his activity report to the protective services committee.
Fire chief’s October report
High Prairie fire chief Ken Melnyk presented his October report to the committee.

The High Prairie Scorpions Taekwondo Club competed at the Whitecourt Taekwondo 20th Anniversary
Tournament Nov. 21 in the new Miller Centre. The club sent nine competitors and won 13 trophies.

A five-goal first period proved to be their downfall as the High Prairie Legionnaires lost an 8-6 decision at
Peace River Nov. 22.

A meeting of the hockey club was held in Mr. St. Germain’s office on Monday night last (Dec. 2),
owing to the many attractions in town, only a few put in an appearance, but they decided to again tackle
the rink proposition and Tuesday afternoon was to have seen the second start with an army of 20 on hand.

eligible Campbell products. It is the 11th anniversary and Bishop Routhier School is trying to make it the

Various organizations set up their displays at the community Rec-Centre. The purpose was to inform the
public of their services.

It is that time again for the annual book fair at Bishop Routhier School. The public can visit the school from
