The Lesser Slave Lake and Smoky River regions have a new store to service needs in the heavy truck, trailer and industrial equipment industry.

J.C. Heavy Truck Parts opened its doors Nov. 1 in the NAPA Building in High Prairie’s east end along Highway 2.

Jerry Cooper owns the store, which offers a wide range of parts for heavy truck and trailer equipment.

They have also partnered with Fleet Brake Parts and Service Ltd. to offer second to none service and sales of heavy duty parts at competitive prices.

“Our head office is in Calgary and we have been in business since 1978,” says Tim Douglas, director of sales and marketing for Fleet Brake Parts and Service Ltd., which has stores across Western Canada.

Fleet Brake is Canada’s premier heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and service company.

With locations across Canada, they provide customers with heavy-duty parts and service needs with brand name parts, expert heavy-duty advice, quality service and superior customer service.

All three men extend greetings to the community and want to let the industry know they’re here and ready to provide each customer with top quality service.

The store handles products for heavy truck, trailer, industrial equipment, as well as, hydraulic, oilfield and industrial hose and fittings.

“We want to emphasize we will be providing another quality option, offering a wide range of products, in the heavy truck and trailer industry,” says Cooper.

Cooper brings about 15 years of experience in heavy duty truck and trailer and 26 years in parts.

Meanwhile, Cramer has about 10 years of experience in truck parts and bookkeeping so together they bring to the table over 30 years of experience in the industry. Both have lived in the area a long time and have a thorough knowledge of the industry and its needs.

J.C. Heavy Truck Parts covers the Peace Country.

“Basically, a 250-kilometre radius,” says Cooper.

J.C. Heavy Truck Parts is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On-call service is always available. Please call 780-523-4990. Cooper and Cramer welcome everyone to drop by for coffee and check out their new location.
