This isn’t quite as serious as it seems! Prairie River Junior High School Grade 9 Drama students held
the play Into the Woods at the Gordon Buchanan Recreation Centre Jan. 22-23. The comedic spoof
combined several fairy tales including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstock and others. Lucinda, left,
played by Faith Pardell, prepares to have her foot shortened by Cinderella’s stepmother, played by
Austen Lee. After all, one cannot marry the prince if the slipper doesn't fit!

Stopping lead-footers on council's radar screen
