The kick's the trick!
Master Simon Chung was the special guest Jan. 30 as the High Prairie Tigers Taekwondo Club held
testing for its students. Each student was tested in their category for belts under the watchful eye of
Chung, who lives in Edmonton. Above, Beth Cramer breaks a board with her foot during testing. The
board is being held by Garnet Daly, whose wife Darla, is head instructor of the Tigers.

Committee pitches big box store proposal
A member of High Prairie town council’s economic development pursuit committee is worried over the
closure of several stores the last few weeks and wants to do something about it.
