Common theme celebrated
Grade 1-2 students at High Prairie St. Andrew’s School celebrated the 100th day of school Feb. 17 with a
High Prairie 100 Centennial anniversary cake. Vice-principal Karen Nielsen thought the common “100” theme
of the cake and centennial would be a good way for young students to recognize the importance of the celebration.
Left right are students Jordan Elko, Jared Gomes, Cassidy Cross, Sebastien Lamoureux and Kaleb Dupuis, who can’t
wait to sink their teeth into the delicious cake, which was generously donated by Matt Lovsin, manager of Freson IGA.
IGA will also be donating other cakes throughout the year as High Prairie celebrates it centennial.
