Kasinec raises Grand Champion
Coyote Acres held its Beef Achievement Day at the High Prairie Agriplex May 25. Students presented their projects before judges who scrutinized their work. Beef judge Tim McGrath noted the high quality of animals this year and complimented the 4-H students on the fine job they did several times. Fed Steer Leader Guy Johnson agreed with McGrath saying the quality of animal was higher this year than on average. The top two finishers in each category from Coyote Acres join the High Prairie and District 4-H Club for the East Peace District Show and Sale June 5 at the Agriplex. Events begin at 1 p.m. with judging. Show time is 2 p.m. with the sale at 5:30 p.m. and supper at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend, there is no admittance fee.
