Tennis lessons
Chris Clegg
for South Peace News
It’s a sport which doesn’t receive too much attention in High Prairie but enthusiasts of the sport are trying to change that.
The High Prairie and District Tennis Club is holding tennis lessons June 12-13 at the courts in the town’s east end.
The club is bringing in a tennis pro from Tennis Alberta to offer lessons for junior players nine years and older and adults.
Cost to receive top-notch instruction is $50 including racket; however, if you bring your own racket the cost is decreased to $25.
Anyone interested is asked to please register at the High Prairie Recreation Board office at 780-523-3988. You can also visit the office in the old post office building at 5209-59 Street.
