Strawberry Tea

The High Prairie Municipal Library held a Strawberry Tea June 12. Allan Helander, left, and Enid Helander, right, were two of about a dozen seniors to attend. Serving strawberry shortcake and beverages are Simone Blacha, middle left, and her daughter, Zoe Blacha.

Beef on bun bbq

The June 11 beef on a bun barbecue at the High Prairie Curling Rink was another huge success. Above, Helen Muller, left, accepts a hamburger from M.D. of Big Lakes Councillor Ken Matthews and Town of High Prairie Councillor Jeff Burgar. It's tradition town and M.D. councillors serve the meal.
