Fun with literacy!
Ally Boucher, left, writes an answer on the Family Literacy Day crossword puzzle at the High Prairie Municipal Library Jan. 27. Her friend, Angel White, watches. People were invited to pull a clue out of an envelope and complete the puzzle. Library staff held many other activities during the day including an add-on story by the Wednesday Storytime children; they also recorded minutes read in the community. People could also play board games including Scrabble Junior, chess, Chinese checkers, Battleship and others.
