Come dance!

Students at Prairie River Junior High performed a musical for their school and the public Jan. 12-13. Left-right are Kailynn Barber, Karen Waikle, Peyton Severson, Katey Zelman, Kaitlyn Cooper and Kelly Cramer. Entitled Once on this Island, based on the novel My Love, My Love by Rosa Guy, it tells the tale of a girl from one culture and a boy from another and their forbidden love. A story and more photos will be featured in the Jan. 25 edition of South Peace News.



Negativity worries biodiesel investors

Some investors wanting to build a biodiesel plant in the region are concerned about comments allegedly made by High Prairie farmer Stan Peacock.
