Va va voom!
High Prairie Liquor Store owner Boyd Gibb picked out a lovely summer dress to go with the pretty, red high-heel shoes during the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event on June 16. Gibb, despite raising enough money to forgo the shoes for some comfy sandals, stuck with his commitment and went the full mile in heels. Please see story and photos on page 11.

Councillors deny accusations from TPA's Padilla
Town of High Prairie councillors Michael Smith and Barry Sharkawi are denying accusations made toward them by the Power Alternative Inc. that they are not supporting their plans to build a biodiesel plant in High Prairie.
