Showdown for championship title
The 43rd annual High Prairie Golf Tournament, held August, 18-19, came to an exciting conclusion when tied scores led to two final showdowns in the men’s Championship and 1st Flight categories.
We are not alone
Up to thirty years ago, the conventional thinking about stomach ulcers was too much acid, usually caused by stress. It sounded plausible enough that whole generations of doctors and patients tried to solve the ill with anti-stress therapy. Tranquilizers. Get a good night sleep. Move away from that annoying neighbour. Quit that irksome job.
Thank goodness for politicians! Seriously!
Now, if you think about it, we wouldn’t actually have this Alberta problem if it weren’t for a politician. It took a politician to create the problem, and it’s very likely going to be a politician, or several of them, to make the problem go away.
