The Joussard Fire Department was ordered to stand down on Sept. 14 after the M.D. discovered the training firefighters were receiving was unacceptable.

When they got back to the ship they had seen the city as only the locals could show, been fed and housed and treated like family and they still had money left over.”

Students who ride school buses every day in Alberta, including High Prairie School Division (HPSD), are well-deserving of the safest school transportation system possible.

The wildfire hazard for this week will be HIGH and VERY HIGH for areas south of Lesser Slave Lake, around High Prairie and north of Red Earth.
