Dorothy Marion Beamish, of Vulcan, AB, passed away into glory at the Vulcan Hospital on May 14, 2012 at the age of 85 years.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon, in 1994.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters: Ruth Hingston of Sparwood, B.C.; Jean (Cliff) Rich of Vulcan; Karen (Geoff) Middleton of Ottawa; eight grandchildren including Ricky Macdonald, Kristy Baird, Terry Macdonald, Steven (Natasha) Rich, Gillian Rich, Nicole Rich, Kelly (David) Buchanan, and Leslie Middleton; 12 great–grandchildren; and her beloved sister, Ruth McCluskey, of Black Diamond, AB.

She was also predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Cowell and Walter Taylor; and her brothers, Clarence and Buster Taylor.

Dorothy was a member of the Victory Fellowship Church in Vulcan.

The celebration service was held at Victory Fellowship Church in Vulcan on May 17 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dale Wright officiating.

Interment will be in Fernie, B.C. at a date to be determined.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Victory Fellowship Church or Ladies Auxiliary, Vulcan Hospital.
