Mike Marczyk, 1941-2007

Mike Marczyk, a long time resident of High Prairie, passed away at the High Prairie Palliative Care Unit on the evening of June 6, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 66 years. He is survived by: his wife, Marie; sons Michael (Laura) and Kenneth (Glenda); sister Gladys; grandsons Brandon and Cordell; granddaughter Katie and great granddaughter Zoey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mike’s family would like to extend thanks to the hospital staff, Dr. Edwards and the many friends for the support they gave during his struggle. A very special thanks to Pastor Pat Duffin and his wife, Sheila. Mike requested that there be no funeral but there will be a private family scattering of ashes after cremation. He will be sadly missed by all.
