Mary Ida Periard, 1935-2005

Mary Ida Periard, of Saddle Lake, Alta., and well-known to many people in the High Prairie area, passed away in Saddle Lake Feb. 25, 2005, at the age of 70 years.

Mary was born in Saddle Lake Feb. 8, 1935.

A wake for Mary was held March 2 at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre in Saddle Lake. A Mass of the Christian Burial was held March 3 at 11 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre with Rev. Father C. Prosdocimo, O.M.I. and Rev. Father G. Laboucane O.M.I. officiating. Cremation followed.

Pallbearers were Clayton M. Shirt, Stacy Buchkowsky, Randy Collins, Raymond Shirt, Clayton Shirt, Tim Margetts, Darcey Shirt and Wesley Proch.
