The High Prairie Native Friendship Centre brought back a tradition from years ago at this year’s High Prairie Elks Pro Rodeo. The centre held a pancake breakfast July 28. Years ago, High Prairie St. Mark’s Anglican Church held a pancake breakfast the first day of the rodeo. This year, the centre brought back the tradition but held it Monday to kick off the week’s activities instead of Tuesday – the traditional first day of the rodeo. Pancakes, sausages and a variety of beverages were served to about 120 attending.
