The High Prairie and District Museum has an old pocket watch from the early 1900s. It was donated by J.A.E. Hoskin in 1967 and has a gold face with black lettering. This Victorian watch has chain key winding but it is now missing. Engraving on the back indicates it was made to commemorate the 1905 Horatio Nelson Centenary. It is not known what year the watch was made. Each week, the museum presents an artifact. Drop by during regular hours to see this item and more. For all inquiries, please call curator Darlene Adams at the museum at 523-2601.
