The Grouard Native Cultural Arts Museum has in its collection a rosary and case that belonged to Bishop Emile Grouard. He was the namesake of Grouard and bishop of the Athabasca Diocese from 1901-29, whose headquarters were at the St. Bernard’s Mission in Grouard. Each week, the Grouard Native Cultural Arts Museum and High Prairie and District Museum alternate bringing you artifacts.
