A High Prairie man was fined a few hundred dollars for being with a person he was not supposed to be with.
William J. Biccum, 58, was fined $300, plus a $90 victim fine surcharge, for failing to comply with an undertaking when he appeared in High Prairie provincial court May 16.
Court heart that Biccum was in communication with a named female against court order, after they were discovered in his vehicle together by police, Crown prosecutor Haydn Shook says.
“He got a phone call from her to pick her up and so he did,” duty counsel Harry Jong said.
They were found together in the vehicle by police when Biccum was stopped for a tail light infraction.
