High Prairie Dolphins broke seven club records over the 2026 summer swimming season, up to the regional championship meet Aug. 8-9.

Two of the record breakers were a sister and brother, head coach Larkin Stokes says.

Three records were broken by Andie Cox in girl’s 8-and-under competition. Cox broke the record in the 25-m freestyle with a time of 17.22 seconds, beating the previous record of 18.28 seconds set by her mother, Leslie Pollack in 1994.

Cox broke the record in the 50-m freestyle with a time of 39.50 seconds, beating the previous record of 42.23 seconds set by Nicole Vandermeulen in 1992.

Cox broke the record in the 25-m backstroke with a time of 20.45 seconds, beating the previous record of 21.03 seconds set by Kerdessa Perry in 1990.

Nate Cox broke two records in the boy’s 10-and-under competition. He broke the record in the 25-m backstroke with a time of 18.28 seconds, breaking the previous record of 19.06 seconds he set in 2025.

Cox also broke the time in the 50-m backstroke with a time of 41.25 seconds, breaking the previous record of 42.93 seconds set by Kayle Rothwell in 2017.

Mischa Deering broke the record in the girl’s18-and-over 100-m individual medley with a time of 1:22.34, breaking the previous record of 1:23.84 set by her sister, Ella Deering, in 2022.

One relay record was broken during the season. The mixed 10-and-under four-by-25-m freestyle relay record was broken by the team of Emme Graham, Zaylee Veniot, Nate Cox and Benjamin Donnison with a time of 1:10.64. They beat the previous record of 1:11.46 set in 2017 by the team of Mischa Deering, Brady Park, Kayle Rothwell and Hannah Haas.
