The Festival of Trees Committee has made a $500 donation to the High Prairie and District Palliative Care Society.
The decision was made at the committee’s first meeting Sept. 29 to organize this year’s Festival of Trees.
This year’s Festival of Trees will be Dec. 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 from 6-8 p.m. each evening. The celebration, held in the pedway linking the hospital with J.B. Wood Extended Care, features about 40 decorated Christmas trees with dozens of other Christmas displays.
