Minor football for local teams wraps up this coming weekend.
The High Prairie Outlaws host the Grande Prairie Broncos on Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. in the final game of their inaugural season in the Peace Country Bantam Football League.
After a two-week break, the Outlaws played the Raiders in Grande Prairie on Oct. 15.
The High Prairie Renegades visit Whitecourt Cats on Oct. 21 to end their second high school season in the Mighty Peace Football League.
Despite winless records for both teams, head coaches Tom Duchnesneau of the Outlaws and William Stalenhoef of the Renegades have been pleased with the progress of the skills of their respective teams.
The Renegades hosted the Peace River Pioneers on Oct. 14 in their final home game.
