The Golden Walleye Classic Committee made its annual donation to the High Prairie Fire Department Oct. 12. Firefighters have assisted the committee at the tournament for the past seven years and, in turn, the committee makes a donation. This year’s donation was $3,000. Left-right are Shaw’s Point owner Carson Porisky, fire chief Ken Melnyk and GWC chair Ken Sperling. Shaw’s Point Resort hosts the popular fishing tournament each year.
