Kinuso Fall Fair keeps everyone entertained

by | Sep 24, 2024 | Events

For the second consecutive year, the Central Slave Lake Agricultural Society brought back the Kinuso Fall Fair. Visitors were kept busy with several activities during the day. A family bingo in the agricultural hall Saturday afternoon invited people to try their luck. A bench show in the curling rink featured baking, crafts, etc. for adults and juniors/children to enter. A pancake breakfast was held Saturday morning and market in the afternoon on the south side of the curling rink. A steak supper and live band concluded the day’s events.

Brenda Laboucan, of Slave Lake, attended the artisan’s market with her dazzling beadwork. She owns and operates Creations by Nana.
Many vendors entered the artisan’s market held on the south side of the hall. Children also “tagged along” with their own creations. Above, Lucy Bott, 9, of Slave Lake, and Jedda Begin, 9, also of Slave Lake, sold keychains, stickers, bracelets, pencil grips, etc.
Bingo became a family affair at the Kinuso Fall Fair. Above, Kathy Hunt, left and her grandson, Sawyer Reade, try their luck!
