The M.D. of Peace council approved its 2025 interim budget at its Dec. 10 meeting.
The budget totals $6,379,960 including $4,980,660 in operating funds and $1,399,300 in capital funds.
The final budget will be presented to council for consideration and final approval in March 2025 after assessment values and government funding figures are made available.
The M.D. serves a population of 1,581 in 651 residences covering 228,538 acres. It is governed by five councillors and employs 13 staff.
