A 22-year-old High Prairie man charged in connection with the robbery of two adult women is facing the legal system.
Cole Harvey Hansen made his first appearance on the charges in High Prairie provincial court Nov. 21 and reserved plea to Nov. 28.
“He wants to consider early resolution,” lawyer Harry Jong told Judge D.R. Shynkar.
Hansen appeared from Peace River Correction Centre on closed-circuit television.
Hansen allegedly stole $60 from one woman and $20 from the other during the Nov. 7 incident, said Crown prosecutor Petter Hurich.
Hansen is charged with two counts of robbery, three counts of uttering threats causing bodily harm, one count of uttering threats, theft under $5,000, two breaches of probation, and being intoxicated in a public place.
Hansen is under a probation order to be of good behaviour and keep the peace, and to abstain from consuming alcohol.
