High Prairie RCMP are investigating a collision involving a truck and an apartment building in High Prairie’s west end April 26. At about 8:20 p.m. police, and emergency services responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a semi-truck running into an apartment complex at 5043 52 Avenue. Police have determined that the driver, and lone occupant of the semi-truck, became disoriented and lost control of the truck after experiencing a minor medical emergency. The truck struck the apartment complex causing structural damage to the building. Neither the driver of the semi-truck nor any of the residents inside the apartment complex were injured in the collision. The matter is still under investigation.
