A downtown High Prairie commercial building heavily damaged by fire last August is under construction. Crews started to rebuild the Collett Building on 49 Street. Building owner John Middelkoop says work started June 11 and is expected to take about four months to complete. Workers will reconstruct the south side of the building that was extensively damaged and where fire was contained. He says the original building was constructed around 1990. Angel Business Services, Northern Alberta Fetal Alcohol and PACE Community Support Sexual Assault and Trauma Centre located in the building at the time of the incident.
