PICs – Gingerbread, Jesus and celebration

by | Dec 15, 2016 | News

An assembly line of children apply icing to their gingerbread reindeer. Left-right are Santana Bigstone, 10, Kaydence Chalifoux, 5, and Shannarah L’Hirondelle, 11.

Although the Miracle Club does not operate year-round any longer, they still hold their popular Christmas Party. This year, 92 children participated in activities at High Prairie Elementary School on Dec. 2. Children and parents, cousins and relatives enjoyed colouring, singing songs, and celebrating the real meaning of Christmas – the birth of Jesus. The finale is the popular decoration of a gingerbread man, or in this case, reindeer.

Cayden Kiyawasew, 5, shows his gingerbread reindeer after completion. Now to take it home and devour it!

Seven-year-old Wynter Alook, left, and Lorellee Supernault, 18, decide which candy to put on their gingerbread reindeer. Alook and Supernault are cousins.

Three-year-old Megan King, left, watches carefully as her cousin, Caci Cunningham, applies icing.
