The new welcome sign for the hamlet of Enilda and other hamlets enhances the entrances to the communities.
New welcome signs for the hamlets in Big Lakes County were erected in late November. Each sign is made of acrylic stucco finish with stone finish on the base and columns with recessed white reflective lettering for the names. Signs for the hamlets of Enilda, Faust, Grouard, Joussard, and Kinuso measure 5 1/2-feet high by 10-feet wide. The municipality became Big Lakes County in April 2015. The M.D. of Big Lakes was incorporated Jan. 1, 1995 from the former Improvement District. Welcome signs to the county were placed in early November.

The former signs were made of wood and some were weathered.

The back view of the new signs invite people to ‘Please come again’ as they leave the hamlet.
